Mrs. Kerch IS Discovery Preschool. Her energy and her ability to connect with children, combined with a sound educational background and a creative curriculum, instill in Discovery students an eagerness to learn and a willingness to listen. Her reputation as a teacher and a leader is unparalleled. She has been a teacher at Discovery Preschool for over 20 years, or as she likes to put it, since she was 12 years old. Deanna Kunkel
Mrs. Kunkel is the assistant teacher and works hand-in-hand with parents and Mrs. Kerch to maximize our student's education. She holds an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Moraine Park Technical College, She has been working with young children for over 25 years. |

Discovery Preschool: Ripon's unique art-based preschool is the choice of parents...Our daughter's first school experience, through Discovery Preschool, has laid the foundation for her to become a lifelong learner. Discovery Preschool instills the love of learning and discovery in our child through creative lessons, various learning opportunities, art based activities and free play. She comes home from school full of wonder and curiosity, which spills over into the rest of her day. The teachers provide a nurturing environment that encourages and promotes self discovery.
